Job Overview:
We are hiring several hundred responsible, dependable and organized people with neat appearance to provide superior customer service by being a contributor to a comprehensive lawn and garden merchandising program. Candidates must have dependable transportation. Daily work locations and schedules may vary. We merchandise the plant product out of the Lowe's Home Improvement garden center.
        
Responsibilities:        
•        Meet daily scheduled delivery of customer orders on site
•        Ensure stores follow merchandise plan-o-gram (training provided)
•        Ensure product is merchandised in a timely fashion
•        Arrange display area for optimal presentation
•        Condense and clean display areas
•        Cull damaged/defective product and report RGA requests to Lead Merchandiser
•        Support in-store watering program
•        Make sure product is color striped and proper signage / POP is in place
•        Communicate effectively with management
•        Adhere to in-store vendor responsibilities (wear vendor apron/badge)

Job Requirements:        
•        Must be able to develop an understanding of garden product
•        Ability to provide reliable transportation and phone contact.
•        Ability to deal effectively with store personnel and the general public.
•        Strenuous physical activities in varying weather conditions. Regular lifting of 40 lbs. and occasionally more.
•        Must be able to work fluctuating schedule including nights and weekends.
•        Background checks for valid social security number, department of motor vehicle and criminal record and drug testing.

Hours/Week: Varies by season. Flexible work hours.
Wages:        Based on experience
