Description
The Lubbock Division of U.S. Foodservice distributes food and related products throughout West Texas, Eastern New Mexico and Southern Oklahoma. The Lubbock Division of U.S. Foodservice is looking for Sales candidate for the Lubbock Division Service area. This is a commissioned outside sales position in which the primary purpose is to sell food and non-food items to new and existing customers. Responsible for acquiring and developing new customers and achieving sales and gross profit budget goals. Manage all aspects of the business relationship between the company and its customers. Provide coverage for customers whose assigned territory manager is absent due to vacation or illness. May mentor with another Territory Manager and handle assigned duties and customers as assigned.
USF has a comprehensive 13-week training program for the Territory Manager position. This position will be classified as Sales Trainee until the employee successfully completes the training program. After training, the employee may become eligible to be assigned a Territory Manager title. Must be willing to relocate to an available territory in the Lubbock Division service area.

Skills
Excellent customer service, presentation abilities, negotiation, and time management skills are required. Experience in the foodservice industry or experience as chef or catering/food operations manager desirable. Successful candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent is preferred. Candidate must be willing to relocate to an available territory in the Lubbock Division service area.
